Arthur Jafa and the American Blackness

Arthur Jafa’s new exhibition, the first solo show dedicated to the American artist by an Italian institution, opens on November 4th at OGR Torino. The project, produced in collaboration with the Serpentine Gallery in London, is conceived by the artist, director and director of photography for the spaces of Binario 1 as a single large installation.

On show are some of his most recent works, which have never been exhibited in Italy before. With his powerful and lyrical work, Jafa combines images and stories from different contexts in a destabilising way, in his constant search for Blackness.
